PROJECT OVERVIEW

Fidelity collaborated with SCADpro to help Fidelity’s clients understand the potential benefits and financial impact of implementing the Student Debt Program into their benefit package.

What did I do exactly?

As part of the UX/Visual team, I contributed to ideation, concept development, conducting interviews, and delivering several presentations to executives. As the project progressed, with a deeper understanding of user needs and project objectives, I transitioned to focusing on refining the visual elements that were crucial to the success of our solution. This shift allowed me to leverage my expertise in design to ensure that the final product not only met but exceeded user expectations, resulting in a more engaging and intuitive user experience.

Takeaways: 

We encountered the challenge of guiding clients toward a solution that truly met their needs, even if it meant deviating from their initial expectations. This process required backing up our proposals with evidence and rationale. We also learned the importance of seeking input from colleagues and experts outside our immediate team. However, we faced a few hurdles due to poor team communication, highlighting the importance of addressing conflicts and fostering positive dynamics. Overall, this project taught us valuable lessons in managing client expectations, leveraging external expertise, and nurturing effective team communication for future success.
